🕊️ Holy Communion Service is on Sundays at 10:30 AM.

On the last Sunday of each month, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Hilltop Lutheran Church, and First English Lutheran Church gather for a joint Holy Communion service at 10:00 AM.

The location will rotate among the three congregations:

July 26 – Hilltop Lutheran Church

August 30 – First English Lutheran Church

September 27- Gloria Dei Lutheran Church

Announcements for July 5 ✨

🌼 Altar Flowers – The altar flowers are given in memory of and thanksgiving for Jeanette Taylor's mother Hilda Raley Saddler.

🕯️ Sanctuary Lamp – The Sanctuary Lamp is available, and several dates are still open for altar flower donations. Please contact the church office if you are interested.

📖 Wednesday Bible Study – Bible Study meets Wednesday at 10:00 AM.

📝 Vote for the New Congregation Name – Today, after worship, you will receive a ballot to vote for the name of our new consolidated congregation. Ballots must be returned by July 19.

📜 Constitution Vote – Following worship on July 19, we will hold a congregational vote to approve the updated Gloria Dei Constitution. If you would like a copy of the proposed constitution before the meeting, please contact Pastor Patrick.

⚾ South Bend Cubs Game – Join us for an evening at Four Winds Field to watch the South Bend Cubs on Thursday, August 6, at 7:05 PM. The cost is $34 and includes your game ticket, buffet, one drink, and a hat. The deadline to sign up is July 19. Please submit your payment (made payable to your respective church) along with your reservation to your church secretary.

⛪ Monthly Joint Worship Services – On the last Sunday of each month, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Hilltop Lutheran Church, and First English Lutheran Church gather for a joint Holy Communion service at 10:00 AM.

Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, located at 225 East Haney Avenue in South Bend, Indiana, is a welcoming congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Led by Rev. Patrick Ballard, the church offers Holy Communion services on Sundays. The community is active in ministry, embracing Lutheran teachings and traditions to support spiritual growth and well-being.
